Bruno is a Senior Cybersecurity executive based in Atlanta, GA. With over twenty-two years of experience, both nationally and internationally, in cybersecurity and IT risk management and transformation, Bruno helps Fortune 500 organizations navigate and address cybersecurity, IT and governance risks resulting in improved business performance and value.

Bruno focuses in emerging technology and digital risks by working with the Board and C-level suite tackle information security as a business issue and to improve the organization’s defensible posture against emerging threats. Bruno has a strong background in assessing and implementing cybersecurity, privacy, IT risk, business resiliency, vendor risk, and data protection programs. Bruno also leads teams in penetration testing and vulnerability assessments, threat modeling, secure adoption of Cloud based solutions, and helps organizations implement and assess against various security, regulatory and compliance requirements, such as NIST, ISO27001/2, GDPR, PCI, ISF, and HIPAA.

Bruno is a proven practice leader, currently Board President for the FBI’s InfraGard Atlanta Members Alliance, has published thought leadership, and is a frequent speaker at various professional associations. Lastly, Bruno has significant experience in the supervision of large scale IT initiatives, and advisory oversight of technology integration engagements.

Prior to joining Accenture, Bruno served as the Director and Market Leader for cybersecurity at PwC. He also served as an Information Security and IT Risk advisor and competency leader in EY’s Advisory practice and in Andersen’s (formerly Arthur Andersen) Business Consulting practice, as well as in the Global Technology Integration Services group in Andersen Consulting (now Accenture), where he had lead application and data architecture design and development responsibilities nationally.

Over 15 years of leading teams focused on risk management, penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, governance, and regulatory compliance. An author of DHS and NIST cyber security guidelines, including the NIST Cyber Security Framework.

He demonstrates effective leadership and enthusiasm via service as an officer in industry organizations, university board, and influencing federal and state legislative plans. Establishes strong relationships with industry to provide companies with a voice in policy making and ability to leverage partnerships for solutions. Strength in value to business process and management utilizing my team development, recruiting, technical background, business delivery, and communication skills. A Master of Law, leveraged to interpret contracts, regulatory requirements, and business objectives for the advancement of enterprise security.

Jim Burris

Jim Burris has over 35 years of Security and Intelligence experience spanning across government service and defense industry. Jim is the Security Director of SRC headquartered in Atlanta with offices across the United States; responsible for ensuring the implementation, compliance and direction of corporate security programs and intelligence threat support. His background includes instructional, operational, and management leadership in numerous disciplines of tactical, security and intelligence disciplines. Retired from the Special Operations community, he has worked with and in support of the IC, DoD and their contractor workforce. A former private security consultant business owner, Jim continues an active role in the security and intelligence professional community as a member and event speaker. He is also a current NCMS National member of the Industrial Security Consultants Committee. Jim is the founder, former chair and current Secretary of the NCMS Georgia Chapter of Industrial Security Professionals; BOD and member of the Atlanta Chapter of Association of Former Intelligence Officers (AFIO), and is an active member of the Southeastern Intelligence Analyst Roundtable.

Jim holds a BA in Intelligence Analysis and is certified in multiple security career disciplines to include, Industrial Security, Information Security, Physical Security, Personnel Security, and is an Inside Threat Security Specialist. He is a Board Certified Master Anti-Terrorism Specialist (CMAS) and OPSEC Intelligence Specialist (OIS), Level II and III Anti-Terrorism Instructor, and a High Risk SERE Instructor. Jim strongly espouses Team Support for National Security; we are all in it together.

Monique Hart is a seasoned Information Risk and Security Professional with over 25 years of practical work experience in Information Risk Management, IT Policy and Governance, Vulnerability Management, and Incident Response.  In addition, her work crosses multiple industries including Media and Entertainment, Product Management, Consulting, Corporate IT Risk Governance & Compliance, and Healthcare.  Currently, she leads Information Security for Piedmont Healthcare – and 11-hospital system and the largest healthcare provider in Georgia.  In this role, she is responsible for overseeing the management of material risk of electronic Health Care information and content as it pertains to Piedmont Healthcare’s business, employee, and patient information.

Katie Ewers has over 20 years of experience in the field of information security. Her experience includes various industries such as healthcare, financial services, consulting, retail and telecommunications. She has held roles such as security application development, IAM program development, security team development, consulting and most recently, Director of Security Operations. Over the past 18 years, Katie has enjoyed being an active member of the information security community in Atlanta. Over the past 11 years, she has enjoyed being a member of the IAMA. Her experience includes attaining several industry certifications including a CISSP from 2000, CISA from 2003 and CISM from 2008. Katie is passionate about business enablement, industry collaboration and program execution.

Bill Morrison is currently employed by the healthcare business line of a Fortune 10 multinational company working on the engineering, implementation, and deployment of security controls and processes for healthcare cloud products and systems. Previously, Bill spent 3 years with the nation’s largest not-for-profit healthcare system, leading their Incident Response program. Additionally, Bill has over 22 years expereince with a Fortune 15 company as an Information Security & Compliance Officer for their pharma & high-tech manufacturing customers, providing expertise in information security, threat & vulnerability assessment, incident management, and information security policies and standards. Bill also served as the senior incident handler/investigator on the Corporate IT Security Incident Response Team. Bill served as the IAMA chapter Secretary (2013-2015) and as Treasurer since 2015.

With over 30 years of information security experience, as well as over a decade of security marketing experience, Kevin Peterson is a well-recognized global cybersecurity marketing leader.

Prior to founding ZecurityAscent, Kevin served as the director of security and network transformation at the #1 cloud security company, where he authored many of the thought leadership white papers, would be asked to speak at over 50 security conferences per year, and would regularly blog about various security topics.

Earlier experiences included that of IT risk leader for McKesson (Fortune 5), where he led the security and risk practice for one of their major business units (business unit security officer), as well as a large amount of their ideation and strategy for cloud security topics ranging from A to Z (Azure to Zscaler). And before that, senior product manager for the #1 remote access solution at Juniper Networks, where he was a co-author of the best-selling book on the topic, as well as the founder of the incredibly successful “SSL VPN Insider” blog site.

Other influences include significant roles at Microsoft and the United States Air Force Special Operations Command.

In addition to InfraGard, Kevin is actively involved in the local ISSA and ISACA chapters.

Dean Mallis

Dean is currently the CISO for MARTA (Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority), the 8th largest transit system in the U.S., and has 20+ years of IT experience, with over 12 year of experience in multiple areas of cyber security in fortune 100 companies. These areas include, computer forensics, incident response, penetration testing, physical security assessments and vendor assessments. He has built and/or matured incident response, computer forensic, e-discovery, risk and vulnerability intelligence programs in several organizations. Dean has completed many individual consulting engagements, from penetration testing, breach investigations, to full gap assessments and providing organizations with cyber security roadmaps.  Dean’s security certifications include, CISSP, CCE, and GWAPT and he is also ITIL certified. Dean is a formerly licensed Private Investigator and an Executive Protection Specialist, having provided executive protection services for a local dignitary. He has provided pro bono computer forensic services to local law enforcement and was the Executive Director of R.E.C.O.N., an all-volunteer organization that assisted local law enforcement in searching for missing and abducted children.  He holds an Associate’s Degree in Biology and a Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security.
