Katie Ewers has over 20 years of experience in the field of information security. Her experience includes various industries such as healthcare, financial services, consulting, retail and telecommunications. She has held roles such as security application development, IAM program development, security team development, consulting and most recently, Director of Security Operations. Over the past 18 years, Katie has enjoyed being an active member of the information security community in Atlanta. Over the past 11 years, she has enjoyed being a member of the IAMA. Her experience includes attaining several industry certifications including a CISSP from 2000, CISA from 2003 and CISM from 2008. Katie is passionate about business enablement, industry collaboration and program execution.

Marian Reed

Marian Reed has over 20 years in Cybersecurity, Risk Management and Regulatory space. She spent the majority of this time working in a Fortune 5 global company with a focus on healthcare. She is currently serving on the Infragard Atlanta Board. She has experience in many of the risk management domains such as overall Risk Management Program, Security Awareness, Access Management, Regulatory/Compliance and providing guidance on risk to an organization based on the business operations. Marian has served on many industry committees and boards and is helping to lead the way for women in Cybersecurity. She is currently the VP of GRC Consulting, vCISO at VerSprite and is a member of several Cybersecurity Leadership associations. Marian provides insight into current trends and operating programs related to cybersecurity through speaking at a variety of cybersecurity conferences. She most recently was named InfoSec’s top 100, was invited into the Cybersecurity Divas and was a recipient of the Top Global Technology Executives Award by Pulse. Marian is committed to helping organizations achieve security based on the business operations and risks. She works with companies to build an Information Security strategy that is best for the business.

Mike Estep is the CEO of blueAlliance IT and CEO of BECA – The IT Brain Power Company, with the responsibility for growth and direction of both organizations. He leads a diverse team of highly qualified technology gurus that specialize in solving business problems with technology solutions.

Mike has been a member of the BECA team since 1990 and in 2021 joined forces with other leaders to form blueAlliance IT; which is a national organization combining like-minded leaders to solve common issues that challenge growing IT service providers. Mike has been actively involved in helping businesses with technology related decisions since he began his career teaching Novell networking administration classes in the late 80’s. His focus on protection of client’s data has become a sharper focus in recent years. He is an active member of the CyberNation, as well as an Atlanta Board member of Infragard, a private sector group working hand in hand with the FBI to protect private and public companies. He has served on advisory boards for companies such as Microsoft, WatchGuard, Webroot, NetWrix and on local community boards promoting the growth of youth and high school team athletics.

Mike has a passion for change and the continuing engagement of technology in driving that change. He spends many hours developing and learning in the technology world.

Aleigha Roberts manages the Information Security Governance Team at Delta Air Lines. She is a creative, well-rounded communicator who excels at the strategy and the tactics necessary to ensure that information security programs are effectively changing organizational behavior, fostering a secure culture, and reducing security risk.

Aleigha has more than 12 years of experience in Information Security and has been with Delta since 2015. During her time at Delta, she has been the driving force behind all things training, awareness, and communication for Information Security, advocating that Delta’s people play a critical role in our cyber threat defense and maintaining a vigilant and security-aware workforce is the best strategy for detecting and thwarting cyber-attacks, running a successful operation, serving our customers, and maintaining a world class workforce. Prior to working for Delta, Aleigha was a Management and Program Analyst with the FBI in Information Assurance. While with the FBI, she led programs and projects, developed IT risk assessments, and ensured all FBI systems met and complied with federal laws and regulations. Aleigha has a Bachelor of Science of Public Relations and Minors in Business Administration and Leadership from the University of Florida.

SA Hernandez is a 35 year veteran of the FBI and has been a Special Agent since 1999. SA Hernandez has worked in Los Angeles, FBIHQ in Washington DC, and has been assigned to Atlanta since 2011. During his career, SA Hernandez has had the opportunity to work and supervise Transnational Organized Crime, Transnational Gangs, Counterintelligence, Human Intelligence, and Strategic Outreach matters. SA Hernandez has been honored with a Case-of-the-Year award by the California Narcotics Officers Association and nominated for a FBI Director’s Award for Human Intelligence. Currently, SA Hernandez serves as member of FBI-Atlanta’s Strategic Outreach team.

Monique Hart is a seasoned Information Risk and Security Leader with over 20 years of practical work experience in Information Risk Management, IT Policy and Governance, Vulnerability Management, and Incident Response. In addition, her work crosses multiple industries including Healthcare, Food & Beverages, Media & Entertainment, Human Resources, Transportation, and Telecommunications. Currently, she is the CISO of Information Security for Piedmont Healthcare – a 19-hospital system and the largest healthcare provider in Georgia. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing the management of material risk of electronic Health Care information and content as it pertains to Piedmont Healthcare’s business, employee, and patient information.

With over 25 years of combined experience as a both a CISO and IT Director, Maddox continually strives to deliver thoughtful Cybersecurity and IT Leadership solutions in areas of strategy, vendor management, negotiations and compliance. Maddox currently leads Cybersecurity for Roark Capital Group, a $25B private equity firm headquartered in Atlanta, GA. In addition, Maddox serves as an advisory board member for Agio, a cybersecurity firm based in New York, NY. He is also an active speaker and has enjoyed presenting at various events including Evanta’s CISO Executive Summit and Private Equity International conferences. With a passion for cybersecurity and technology education, Maddox currently holds his CISSP certification and is a graduate of the FBI Atlanta Citizens Academy.

Mark Harless retired from Federal Law Enforcement in 2019 after a highly successful 22-year career as an FBI Special Agent and 3 years as a Special Agent with The U.S. Air Force Office of Special Investigations. Mark has over
14 years of leadership experience as an FBI Supervisor and has a broad law enforcement background in matters involving public corruption, white collar crime, healthcare fraud, gangs, drug trafficking, money laundering, intellectual property rights, counterterrorism and cybercrime. In 2008, SA Harless was the recipient of the FBI Director’s Award for Special Achievement, and in 2009 he received the FBI Director’s Award for Excellence in Investigation.

Upon his retirement from the FBI, Mark joined IHG Hotels and Resorts where he built and led the company’s global Cyber Threat Intelligence team. In 2022, Mark joined Abacode Cybersecurity and Compliance as a Partner Alliance Executive where he leverages his experience to develop and build successful channel relationships.

SA Harless earned a Master of Science Degree from The Florida State University and a Bachelor of Science Degree from Belmont University. Mark lives in the Atlanta area with his wife of 22 years and their three teenaged children.
