InfraGard Atlanta Member's Alliance (IAMA) is a non-profit organization serving as a public-private partnership among U.S. businesses, individuals involved in the protection and resilience of U.S. critical infrastructures, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
InfraGard National Members Alliance (INMA), which consists of local InfraGard Members Alliances (IMAs) throughout the country. An InfraGard “chapter” refers to the local FBI, the local IMA, and the local InfraGard members working together.
IAMA is the Atlanta chapter of InfraGard. It is a local association of persons who represent businesses, academic institutions, state and local law enforcement agencies, non-profit organizations and other participants dedicated to sharing information and intelligence to prevent hostile acts against the United States.
From drinking water supplies to communications systems, chemical production processes to agricultural resources, Americans depend on a select group of critical infrastructures to sustain our way of life. Any attempts to harm or destroy these resources would directly impact the security of the United States and its citizens.
Most of these systems and services are owned and operated by private industry. Therefore, the protection of our nation’s infrastructure cannot be accomplished by the federal government alone. It requires coordinated action from numerous stakeholders – including government, the private sector, law enforcement, academia and concerned citizens.
Get Local. Get Involved.
It's time to "get local." This is your country, your town, and it is filled with people you know. InfraGard membership is free, and your commitment to learning and connecting with InfraGard members is a great way help keep America safe and enjoy the freedoms we hold dear.
We are working to provide IAMA members with quality programs, to further the mission of protecting our critical infrastructure. Get involved. Act locally to help keep our communities safe and maintain critical infrastructure resilience.
