Judge_WebsterIn lieu of the 2015 ALIST conference that was originally scheduled for the same venue, at this meeting we are presenting a very special guest speaker: current Chairman of the Homeland Security Council, Judge William H. Webster. A former attorney and World War II Navy veteran, Webster served as FBI Director from 1978 to 1987 and as CIA Director from 1987 to 1991.

In his long and distinguished service career, Judge Webster has received numerous awards and honorary degrees from several universities. In 1991, he was presented the Distinguished Intelligence Medal, the Presidential Medal of Freedom, and the National Security Medal. Read Judge Webster’s bio.

Sponsorship

We have created some terrific new sponsorship opportunities for contributions small and large. There is still time to have a booth and prime marketing opportunities at Interface/ALIST and our SecureWorld meeting. To discuss, please contact Jeff Gaynor, President, at iama_president@googlegroups.com. What is InfraGard?

At its most basic level, InfraGard is a partnership between the FBI and the private sector. InfraGard is an association of businesses, academic institutions, state and local law enforcement agencies, and other participants dedicated to sharing information and intelligence to prevent hostile acts against the United States. InfraGard Chapters are geographically linked with FBI Field Office territories. Each InfraGard Chapter has an FBI Special Agent Coordinator assigned to it, and the FBI Coordinator works closely with Supervisory Special Agent Program Managers in the Cyber Division at FBI Headquarters in Washington, D.C.

"Collaboration for National Infrastructure Protection"

Get Local. Get Involved.

It’s time to “get local.” This is your country, your town, and it is filled with people you know. Membership is free, and your commitment to learning and connecting with InfraGard members is a great way help keep America safe to enjoy the freedom we hold dear.

We are working to provide Atlanta InfraGard members with quality programs, to further the mission of protecting our critical infrastructure. Get involved. Act locally to help keep our infrastructure strong.

                                                                                                                -Your IAMA Leadership

About InfraGard®: The InfraGard program is a public/private cooperative effort dedicated to improving our national security. InfraGard consists of Chapters throughout the United States and has thousands of members. The FBI leads the U.S. Government side of InfraGard. The private sector side of InfraGard is led by a non-profit corporation, the InfraGard National Members Alliance, which consists of local InfraGard Members Alliances (IMAs) throughout the country. An InfraGard “Chapter” refers to the local FBI, the local IMA, and the local InfraGard members working together. “InfraGard” is a registered service mark of the FBI.
